The novel delves into the turbulent history of the war of rulers, a conflict that shakes the foundations of the kingdoms of Zuhl and Croe. This quiz will tell you which side to support as you discover which characters you resonate with the most!
King Tor, the monarch of Zuhl, was tall and strong and maintained his long beard. He was stubborn sometimes, but King Tor's intentions always sought the best for his lands. He looked intimidating at first glance, but his kind heart elevated his regal manner.
Queen Inara of Zuhl shone with wisdom and humility. She's the epitome of care in all of Zuhl. In contrast to King Tor's regal demeanor, her neatly pinned-back locks and warm smile painted a picture of grace and simplicity that set her apart in the realm.
Prince One, mighty and bright as his legacy, was the eldest of Zuhl's royal children. His best friend, Prince Arke, saw him as a guide and support. Prince One was very organized, always thinking about the future, and supported his family whenever needed.
Prince Two, the second child and excellent equestrian, hid his thoughtful mind under his cap and was always thinking of ways to improve the kingdom. He inherited Queen Inara's gentle eyes and smile and appeared friendly to even the shiest in Zuhl.
Princess Three was clever and considerate, the older of the twins. Her hair was always neatly braided, and nobody could tell the difference between her and Princess Four other than her choice of colors for her attire and elegant accessories.
Princess Four, the youngest in Zuhl's royal family, had an energetic, adventurous personality. Unlike her sister, she dressed in vibrant patterns all the time. She used her resourcefulness to make all sorts of accessories - from flower crowns to acorn bracelets.
Prince Arke of Croe was never seen without his quill, being a poet. Every word he spoke was hidden with meaning, and he was observant (as we could see in his keen eyes). Self-reflective and empathetic, Prince Arke embodied the values of the royals.
Queen Flor, Prince Arke's mother and ruler of Croe, had warm, compassionate eyes and black hair that framed her face. She could always make someone smile with a compliment, and her skill with words helped her deal with even the most difficult situations.
Aetho, the self-proclaimed "Magician of the Lost Village" and "Great Magician," was simple, but very wise and enigmatic. He was dramatic sometimes, but his words all built up to echo important messages that would shape the course of the story.
